Today I carried out a yearly tradition: saying goodbye to my previous weekly journal and welcoming the next. The 2020 journal was an interesting one, for all the obvious reasons I guess: Unlike its predecessors, the journal was not full to the brim with plane tickets, concert stubs and other fun adventures. These were replaced with many entries about walks around the neighbourhood, what I cooked or what I watched, together with COVID related illustrations I cut from magazines.
